New Listing in North Charleston!

Great New Townhouse Listing in North Charleston

$109,000

Don't miss this great new listing close to Northwoods Mall, Trident Technical College and Trident Hospital. With 2 master bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this townhome is spacious and very conveniently located. Numerous upgrades make this unit stand out from others in Oak Bluff and surrounding developments.

The unit boasts upgraded cherry laminate flooring in the living room and dining area, a large kitchen with island, new built in microwave oven and a custom tile backsplash over the sink.

The back porch has been transformed into an all season porch with wonderful 12x12 tiles and vinyl clear screen panels that can be opened to allow a breeze or closed to keep out the elements.

Other upgrades include some great new lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, a storm door and  cabinet hardware. The unit is on a nice lot with rear space and is near the pool and mail boxes.

Both master bedrooms have a walk-in closet and an ensuite bath with double sinks in the vanity.

What do I love about Charleston?

There's so much to do and I love downtown! The buildings, cobblestone streets, parks, store fronts, and the history are so fun to look at and venture through -- including the graveyards! I love dining in 5-star restaurants, but all the same, I enjoy the many mom-and-pop places. The night life is great and I have definitely taken advantage of the many venues Charleston offers, from roof top bars to the Music Farm. My family loves the beach -- we have enjoyed them all! Whether we go to play in the water and play in the sand, or just to walk and collect shells, we visit the beach all throughout the year.

Why is my neighborhood a great place to live and why is its location perfect?

The neighborhood is really very pretty -- the landscapers have always done a great job at  maintaining the grounds all year round. It is quiet and "tucked away." The townhomes are clean and very nice looking. I have enjoyed living there, not only because it's a neighborhood to be proud to live in, but also because of the location -- shopping and restaurants are just around the corner and interstate access is super easy and close.

What drew me to purchase this home?

I liked the look of the town-homes. Having bought it pre-built, I really didn't know how amazing the landscaping would turn out since it wasn't complete, but the model town-homes looked very nice and "up-scale." This was the nicest town-home community I had ever seen in this price range. The first phase had been completed for a couple years, and they were well-maintained and clean. The community has a HOA, which I wanted, because it keeps the neighborhood clean and valuable. There isn't a lot of riff-raff in this neighborhood. I liked the area, because it was close to shopping and restaurants. At the time I also visited Summerville and James Island equally, so I needed an "in-between" location, and this was great, with easy access to the interstate in both directions.

What are my favorite local restaurants?

We love Wild Wings, which is just around the corner, and also Texas Roadhouse, which is even closer, just down the street.

What are my favorite local places to shop?

I usually shop at the mall, or Marshall's. These places are very close. There are so many shopping places close to the town-home. They are all within a couple miles.

What are our favorite nearby activities including arts and attractions?

We enjoy going to the movies, just a mile away. We often visited the county park, which is 5 minutes the opposite direction of the shopping -- there we walk the dog, or take our daughter to the playground. They host many different kinds of events there. There are many gyms to choose from, all of them are very close. There is a rec center in goose creek, which is only 15 minutes away.

What are the best features and upgrades of my home?

The biggest would be the cherry laminate flooring throughout the living room and dining area. The next biggest would be the back porch -- we installed EZE-BREEZE vinyl windows -- this keeps the feel of a screen porch, but the vinyl panels close, to keep out the pollen and rain, then can slide open when you want to feel the breeze or just let in fresh air. In the kitchen we installed a tile backsplash and an over-the-range microwave. We put on a storm door. The master bathroom uses a dimmer switch. The upstairs has vaulted ceilings, which has a really nice feel.
